I’m liking the painting but not in this space as you have it.
the brown marble is way to over powering here. Maybe if you added a brown frame with a off white matt…it would improve the look. I can not see your faucets, but you could also pick up the faucet color..gold/bronze perhaps instead of the brown or even cream.
It is a beautiful picture but I would not put it there at all. You need a different picture.
i AGREE WITH BOTH CHERYL AND MARLA.
I agree with Marla and Cheryl. But if you want to have it as your tranquil “sea” then it also needs to be hung lower; right now it looks like there was another picture there and you’re just using it’s hook. Also, be careful to not let it get wet.
I agree with Marla and Cheryl. Any picture you hang above the tub needs to be lower. Don’t get it wet! How about some color on the walls to play them up? You could make this bath a real sanctuary– add some candles, a plant, plush towels. You’ve already started!
I agree as well.
I have a cathedral ceiling in here and if you could see it you would see that the painting couldn’t be hung any lower or there would be way too much space above it. And I do have candles, plants and plush towels…you just can’t see them!
a warm yellow or neutral tan would help as would lower height for picture
