I love the curtains
Very cool blue room, but soft and lovely. The sunlight is blinding and washes all the color and shading out of the photo. I would like to see more soft yellows or creams maybe on the walls or pattern on pillows. The greenery should be more substantial and confident like a Boston fern and a classic elegant orchid. The candles are the only warm tidbit I see.Ballard has the most wonderful accessories to take this room from milk toast to a wedding cake. Don’t settle. Take a fresh look. Your not done yet.Take the figurines out of the foreground and get rid of the pink lampshade.Oh, also remember your odd numbers make for a more interesting scene. You have two windows,two chairs, two pillows, two candle holders, two lamps,two floral arrangements and two figurines. One, three, five,seven,nine, etc.You’ll get it, darling.

Oh dear G.D where do I start…Thanks for everyone for the lovely compliments. I’m asking Suzanna to please look at the customers photos on Ballard Designs on facebook. You can see I have 5 windows in the living room, the lampshade is not pink but, burlap and my place was IN progress. Now we are done, and I’ll post some new photos. Thanks again for your advise, but you will see it was not necessary.
If you used white (or soft green) candles…I would prefer white, you would remove the need for creams, etc. It’s not the light that throws the room off. It’s those ugly cream candles that go with nothing in your room. Fabulous room. Get white candles….
