“Make a Room Beautiful” from Kimberly

Hello Ballard Designs!

Attached are a few photos of my office in which I used Ballard items to decorate. Hope this helps in showing customers how easy it is to use Ballard items to make a room beautiful.

Thank you,
Kimberly

This is beautiful – Kimberly, you did a great job and I love the items you chose, especially the clock on the adjacent wall.

Very creative use of the shelves. Would love to see the rest of the house. If you are not a professional decorator, you should consider it.

I have purchased ready-made slip covers for my sofa in the past but they never fit right.
WHERE DO YOU MEASURE to determine the width across the back and also the thickness of the arms. My sofa has very big arms.

I need a suggestion to eliminate the piles of mail, etc. that get thrown on the kitchen table……Maybe a piece with cubbies like in the post office?????

  5. Ballard Designs Says:

Dear Amy: Our Office Design Desk Organizer (AE195) is just what you are describing. It has slots for mail, cubbies and drawers – and best of all it comes in two sizes and three colors (Black, White, Tuscan Brown). If you decide on a desk organizer, why not add some Damask and Stripe File Folders – mark one for current bills and add some for other important mail. We think the organizer will help you tame those piles of mail.

Suzanne: You always measure the widest part of the furniture. So take a close look at the back of your sofa and measure the widest point. Measure only the back – not the arms. Take the arm measurements separately. Just be aware that when you purchase “ready-made” slipcovers that they are designed to fit more than one type of sofa, so the fit is never tailored to your furniture. The fit will never be exact.
