Taking Your Suggestions
Hi Ballard Folks,
Last summer I sent you photos of my dining room and you offered a few great suggestions, and posted my pictures on your website….so, I thought you might enjoy seeing some “after” shots. (Click here to see decorating dilemma)
I took your advice and rearranged my hutch, displaying the ironstone and and tried to vary it’s contents to make it more of a point of interest.
I bought your mirror to reflect the light from the window on the opposite wall and I removed the heavy wool window valance and added drapes to make the window appear larger.
Am I heading in the right direction?

I dunno when this was posted, no dates on these but I LOVE the room. Love that green wall color and the the wood tones with it. Gorg!!

Replace the chairs. Then you can call it done!
I think this is really looking great! I agree with Lianna and suggest replacing the chairs with parson style slipcover chairs with solid neutral fabric. Also, I love the mirror! Great job!
