Depends on the other decor of your home. if you have the country feel then maybe you would consider on of the runner rugs in a gingham or possibly a paisley. If you choose a paisley you could always go with any other decorating theme.By having the dark colors on the furniture you can always have a pop of color on the floor and in your accessories love the green but add a third color such as orange or maybe a cobalt blue. As for on the walls perhaps a metal star or a cluster of metal stars or a grouping to tea light holders that you could light in the evening for a relaxing glow!
I had a porch like yours and I painted the concrete…it made a huge difference!
I agree with Deb – painting the concrete a neutral color will make a big difference. I’m thinking you could do a wrought iron feature on either side of the window….possibly some wrought iron sconces with flameless candles that would provide a nice ambiance.
I’m thinking some shutters on the windows, a large pendant light and some large boston ferns would complete the picture beautifully.
I agree with Shannon about the metal sconces with a glass globe for a candle or flameless candle. It would create a great atmosphere at night.
My first thought was the same as Jennifer, I think shutters would be beautiful!
Painting the concrete would be a great idea too!
I agree with the idea of painting the concrete. Possibly a picture on the wall to the right of the window if you want to bring out the color in the pillows. Also, you might think of a larger size in the rug, so the chair would sit completely on it. Beautiful setting!
Some salvaged shutters would look nice. I definitley agree with the idea of a vibrant green plant to pick up the green accent color. If you can’t find shutters, I think some wrought iron accents would look great, as others suggested, to bring in another texture.
And, from what I can see in this photo, I love the shabby chic texture of the concrete. I would keep it as is! It balances so nicely with the softness of the fabrics and the polish of the green garden seat.
Nice job!
